How we rank
A plain account of how products get their order on a OneReview Smart Comparison, and what we earn from it.
How we make money
Some links on a Smart Comparison are affiliate links. If a visitor opens an account or buys through one, the provider may pay us and the creator. That never changes the order. The ranking comes from the visitor's answers, and every Smart in plain language.
The visitor's answers set the order
Each visitor answers a short question about what matters to them. The answer sets how much weight each feature gets, so people with different priorities can see a different order.
Products come from the creator's picks
A Smart Comparison only shows products the creator has chosen to recommend. We don't add products the creator hasn't picked.
Fit is explained in words
Each product shows one calm numeric score and a short reason it suits the visitor's answers. We never show a percentage match.
Quotes are dated and sourced
Every quote from the creator carries the date it was said and a link to the video it came from. If the creator hasn't spoken about a product, no quote is shown.
Product facts come from the provider
Rates, fees and features are drawn from the provider's own published information through Pick Your Bank, and are checked against it.
